A –Yes a sample report can be viewed here Sample Report

Q - What if a home inspection reveals problems?

A – If the home inspection discovers problems, it doesn’t mean you should or should not buy the house, only that you will know in advance what to expect. This information is used to inform you of possible future repairs and whether it is major or minor; this will allow you to potentially negotiate your final purchase price to reflect the issues addressed.

Q - Do you do combined building and Pest Inspections?

A – Yes we do. This is the best option for any new purchase. By combining the Building and Pest inspection, we are able to discount the cost of the combined inspections. Please give us a call to discuss your options.

Q - Do you offer to do repairs or improvements based on the inspection?

A – We do not offer to do repairs or improvements based on the inspection. This allows us to remain unbiased and independent. With this in mind you can be assured that any report provided is completed with integrity and in line with Compliance requirements.

Q - How long will the inspection take?

A – The average on-site inspection time for a single inspector is 1 ½ to 3 hours depending on the condition and size of the property.

Q - How much will it cost?

Costs vary depending on the level and type of inspection, the property floor area, property geographical location. A typical range might be $350–$500. See our prices page for more details.

Q - What type of inspection report do you provide and how long will it take to receive the report?

A – We provide a full written report on any defects with descriptions and full colour photographs. Reports are completed onsite. Once payment is received, a copy of the report will be emailed to you. If you have any questions on what is contained within the report, we are always available to take your call and discuss any concerns you may have.

Q - Will I be able to attend the inspection?

A – Yes, this is a valuable educational opportunity, and an inspector’s refusal to allow this should raise a red flag. Never pass up this opportunity to see your prospective home through the eyes of an expert.

Q - Do you participate in continuing education programs to keep your expertise up to date?

A – Yes, we are committed to ongoing education. One can never know it all, and the inspector’s commitment to continuing education is a good measure of his or her professionalism and service to the consumer. This is especially important in cases where the home is much older or includes unique elements requiring additional or updated training.

Q - How do I organise an inspection?

Just give us a call on 0488 339 686 and have the details of the property and the type of inspection you require and we can handle the rest. If the property is listed with an agent we will require the contact details of the agent and when you need the report completed by.
